CD's primary function revolves around the tax return
All of the services that we offer will eventually end up on the tax return. We prepare personal income tax returns, corporate tax returns, partnership tax returns, fiduciary tax returns and estate tax returns. 
We perform accounting functions for small businesses, which include payroll taxes and sales taxes. We work with small business owners to help with budgeting, employee issues, entity issues, insurance issues, licensed contractor issues, and other issues relevant to small business-people.
Cheryl Wilson is Securities and Insurance licensed, and can assist you in understanding your retirement savings plan and your other investments. These issues will ultimately affect your income tax return.
Cheryl Wilson is the Owner and President of
CD Tax & Financial, LLC.
She has a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She is a Certified Financial Planner® and an Enrolled Agent, and also has earned the following accreditations: Accredited Tax Preparer®, Accredited Business Accountant®, Accredited Tax Advisor® and Elder Care Specialist®. She is securities licensed, including insurance licensing. She has worked in the Accounting field for over 25 years, and began specializing in Taxation 15 years ago. She has been investment and insurance licensed for 20 years.
Memberships: National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA), the National Society of Accountants (NSA), the National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP) and the Financial Planning Association (FPA).

As part of my responsibilities I supervise the accounting staff and office work flow for our clients that utilize our bookkeeping services. In addition to that, I meet with potential new business owners to explain the differences in Tax Entities and how to set them up. I am a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor and qualified to do QuickBooks software training. We offer this service to individual businesses on a one-on-one basis. I have been with CD Tax & Financal, LLC for over six years and love working with our business clientele. It is always very rewarding when I can watch a new business develop and grow! I have over 25 years in the public accounting field. Most of my experience is in a CPA Firm in Massachusetts, where I held a similar position, maintaining for business clientele, their bookkeeping, tax reporting and financial reports. I have also held various accounting positions; with the YWCA of W. Mass: a nonprofit organization for battered women, Goodless Electric Inc: an electrical contractor and service provider and Cogswell Manufacturing Inc: an aerospace sub-contractor to Hamilton Standard. These companies have given me an extensive education on the various types of accounting practices required, including audits. I have run audits on a major multi state manufacturer and retail chain and have been audited when employed at the YWCA which was part of our funding requirements, these are unique situations to experience. I have been married for over 40 years. We have four fantastic children, who have given us two granddaughters and four grandsons. We are very fortunate that all of our children live in Arizona. We are a very close family and spend a lot of our free time together! |

I love what I do and I love the people I do it with! I have been in the tax and accounting industry now for a little over 10 years. Working here at CD gives me the opportunity to learn from some of the best people in my industry. I received my Associates Degree in General Studies at University of Phoenix. I have recently discovered my new passion, being a wife and a mother. I have a beautiful little girl named Sierra. I love each day with her, watching her learn new things. In our spare time, my husband Cody, Sierra and I love to fish, camp, hunt, cook, or just stay at home and watch sports. I am a member of National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP). |
